Run

The day of the infamous "Thundercane". The day everyone in the city feared their lives. The Thundercane was an unexpected phenomenon never seen before by man kind. The Thundercane was an unusual weather condition since it only targeted specific things which made it so cars would get struck and become useless which made escape near impossible. It came in tornado like waves chasing people desperately grabbing on to their lives. It struck me and in the flash of lightning I saw the endless chasm known as death, falling endlessly into nothing and seeing flashbacks of my life. . .  I wasn't dead.
