That special moment

Doctor Chris Jones did not believe his eyes, was he really seeing it or was he dreaming?

He had spent all his life, he was ninety years old, searching for something so amazing.

He had been looking for the huge dinosaur’s eggs but till now he had not found a single one.

Fred, one of the young university students ran very excited to tell him they had found one near the pink lake.

Everybody rushed to see….the people who had already climbed on it looked like little toys due to the huge size of the brown egg…..

Dear Andrew,

I would like to tell you how much I appreciate what you're doing for the people of your country.

I did not know about Sierra Leone so I searched on the internet and found out that it is a very poor country, it is very difficult for the people who live in remote villages to have access to healthcare.

I know that a few years ago Ebola has claimed many casualties, and that people did not want to go to the hospitals fearing that they would be infected too.

The Truth

I should have listened to Katie, she had told me that looking after the twins would not be easy.

I needed money to buy that shirt I liked so much so I accepted babysitting them for a couple of days.

I thought it would not be too difficult and I could also study for my exams while they were sleeping.

It all happened when the telephone rang.I spent more than twenty minutes chatting with Katie,


suddenly the twins opened the hydrant in front of the house, I ran to see but the water just kept


gushing out…

That one moment

It all happened when I started Primary school. I began going home with Emily,Suzy and Tom. Suddenly, in the flash of lightning I saw a ghost...
The ghost handed a letter to me.
I could not believe what I just read. The letter said that my mom got kidnapped and my dad got shot by a stranger. I was lucky to have my granny by my side. My granny at that time was 64 years old. I was at home and from that day I lived with her and now since she passed away I live with another family in New Zealand.

The Strange Statue

It happened when I went to Buenos Aires with my friends Pablo and Ana. They had invited me to visit their country, Argentina.

We used to study in London at a boarding school and spend the holidays with my family in Spain.

Ana, my best friend decided to take me to a very famous restaurant and told me the story of the statue they had there.

Apparently it has magic powers, if a person touches it, it transforms into a human being who would give free hamburgers to the poor children of the neighborhood.



I touched it, it really happened…

My vacation in Hawaii

I excitedly opened my journal and I found pictures of my vacation in Hawaii. I will now reveal my story.One day I went to visit Hawaii zoo which at that time seemed to me a beautiful place I went to visit these strange crocodile and the crocodile  looked at me.It slowly yawned and I could just tell that his mouth became so wide and it turned orange. Something happened, Definitely but I carried on walking and the bridge by the river apparently just collapsed I carried on walking and I saw fire within the building.What happened next?

Memories

I remember very well that day, we were travelling in Africa,in our group many  had already been there before and helped the ones like me who had no experience of exotic countries.

Some of them behaved like explorers, telling us stories of their journeys and how they met all kind of people and animals.

That very day it had been raining a lot and we had been walking in the mud for hours, suddenly our guide saw a huge snake and captured it.

Our helpers cooked it, I just couldn't eat something so disgusting….I went to hide and…..

The Trip

It was a very hot day, Paul and Mary decided to take a rest and discover the beautiful beaches of the island.

They went to the nearest one, the one known for its white sand and the mysterious cave.

Since the sun was shining they decided to spend some time in the cave, hopefully it would be cooler there.

Paul and Mary were quite scared but their friends convinced them to follow them, after a few minutes they heard a strange music coming from the ceiling of the cave.

Suddenly the rock began to break and the slime dripped through….

The Strange Day

What a strange day it had been, our new neighbors had come to visit us but I felt something weird about them.

The house had been empty for years and suddenly they bought it because they wanted to leave the place where they had been living.

We spent time with their children but they did not seem to have fun with us, they really looked…different.

At midnight I looked out of the window and I could not believe what I saw, my neighbor's’ house was wrapped in a thick fog and they were walking through the walls….

Suddenly I heard my sister’s voice, it was time to wake up…

My camera

Worried,that is how I felt. My  brown  camera. I couldn't find it... Where was my beautiful,brown,hard camera? Suddenly,I found it. I was as happy as a child having fun. I could now take pictures and put it in my room. This way I can share my memories with my friends and family. I take my camera everywhere.  My brown camera is beautiful and special to me. Camera is the meaning of life, because really memories are a way of life but using a camera you can take photos of that memory. Memories also help you to remember things.

My New Dog

I woke up in the morning and saw my mom sitting on the floor playing with something that looked like a puppy.

I looked closer and I did not believe my eyes, it was really the puppy I had been dreaming for ages. It was as white as  snow so we called him Osito, it means “Little bear" in Spanish.

Osito needs ear drops every morning because he has an infection.It is difficult to hold him because he is scared so he moves a lot and barks.

He is lovely, but how can something so tiny have so much energy ?

Gianna's guide to competitions

Many children say to themselves, so that is why I am always last. I think that they are wrong because as long as you try your best you will start having fun. Losing is not the best feeling because you might think that the other person is better then you but really it is because they are trying their best and if all of us do it that is  the only thing that matters. Don't be upset if you lost the race because there is always a second chance and participating is a gift because it makes you happy. Big or small mistakes will teach you a lesson and actually mistakes are helpful because you can see what you got wrong and you can fix it. .

The Worst experience ever

Quietly, I went closer and closer and closer. I felt like I saw a Gigantic hand holding a Tall tree. The tree, which was tall, began to shake. Dreaming? I thought I was dreaming. What if it was a monster?, However, I heard people say it was a Giant. Should I trust them? The hand, which was very big   Slowly grabbed the tree gently. Was it a friendly Giant? People were getting scared and they didn't know what to do. They were trying to escape but there was no way out. What were they going to do?What should I do?

Why I like to laugh

Having fun is my favorite way to spend my free time, I am always happy when somebody makes me laugh telling me a joke or making strange things.

I like to have a great time hanging out with friends who are interesting, amusing and funny.

My Birthday

I was so sad, it was my birthday but my mom had not organised the party I had been dreaming for.
It was already 6 pm, i came back from school excited hoping to find the house ready for a party.
I found it strange that my schoolmates pretended not to know it was my birthday, to me it is such an important day....
As soon as I entered my house I went upstairs and cried,I felt so sad!!
Suddenly I heard my friend's voices, i run out of the room and suddenly all the lights went out...

A picnic in the park

It was a summer day and we were going to visit a park with Katie and Samuel. The park is 1 hour away from my house and Mom had to take us there. Samuel’s parents brought food for the picnic and Katie brought some toys .When we arrived, we looked for a perfect spot to have our picnic, a few minutes later Katie saw a perfect spot and so we had the picnic there. The view was beautiful you could see the river sliding down. After the picnic we decided to go and swim in the lake. When we got in we heard a strange noise and we thought:" Where did it come from ? " It was a strange sound. We found out that it was our parents who were feeding the ducks, it was a sound that went on for a long time and it sounded like they were shouting but they had to shout because the sound of the river was SO loud and then we heard footsteps coming from far away…

Mission Impossible part 1

One day there were 2 boats in the woods.The woods or should I say the forest was in the middle of nowhere. some people thought that they used during the war and some people thought it was a picture but no nobody was right .The people found out about this boat because scientist have found a weapon a weapon with blood around it . It made them think who left it here why was it here when was it it

it took them 10 years to find out but they still have another 5 years to research.

Under The Sky

Under a dark sky, the wind was blowing as strong as steel, they could not find the way that would take them back home.

They were standing tearful at the entrance of the cave staring at the sky hoping the rain would finally stop.

There were scary noises coming from the wood and they felt the presence of wild animals, they lit a fire to keep them far from the cave and to keep themselves warm.

Suddenly they heard a loud noise and saw something moving fast, a rabbit had come to eat the few carrots they had left……

They had been looking forward to this holiday, they had planned everything to make it a special trip because living in a big city they did not go to beach often.The day they left it was raining and the weather forecast was bad for the following week,they reached the resort in the afternoon but they did not go to the beach because of the rain and the strong wind.The decided to visit a shopping mall the following day and watch a movie at the cinema.As the weather changed, they run to the beach and went sailing
