Tiny Builders

It was saturday morning when I found the builders. No, not normal sized builders you see on building sites. Tiny builders, yeah you read that right.

While walking through the forest I ate a cadbury's creme egg. I was doing my hobby, Collecting leaves. I was looking up at pretty leaves when I tripped over a log on the path and dropped my cadbury's creme egg. After stumbling around, I found my  glasses.  I saw my chocolate egg but as I was picking it up I saw tiny builders. I started talking to them and they said they needed chocolate.

A letter to Andrew

Dear Andrew,

My name is Sade and I am 11 years old. In this letter, I am going to ask you a few questions about your job.

Do you like your job?
I wouldn't. I just wouldn't like touching someone else's blood.

Do you ever get scared?
I bet you do, I could never imagine doing anything like that! I just imagine when it could be a life or death situation.

How many babies and women have died while your trying to help them?
I bet there are a few each week because you don't have the right equipment.

The magic bucket!

It was my first day onboard, I was the swab. I was new so I didn't realise that the bucket I was about to put the water in was magic. I filled the bucket with water. Unexpectedly, the water just kept gushing out the bucket. Everyone else just ignored the water that was making the ship sink. I screamed, I turned the bucket round and then I found out it was a magic bucket,  nobody, except the last person you hugged, could see or hear you for eternity.The last person I hugged was my grandpa just before he died....

1 life saved

I was just about to step into our old, comfy car so I could go to a sleepover at my friend Tiana's house. But  suddenly, the skies opened up, there was a humoungous storm. "Quick Sophie!" shouted my worried mum, "get inside now!". Just as I was getting my stuff franticliy out of the car there was thunder and lightning, in the flash of lightning I saw a cute grey rabbit in the woods just about to get crushed. Quickly forgetting about the rain, I ran to help it. Running as fast as possible, I got there just in time but...

Trapped...

It was my first art competition, I was extremely nervous, I didn't know what to make. My uncle, a rum loving, retired pirate, locked me in my room and said I couldn't come out until I made a sculpture. I was very hungry and I was just thinking of hamburgers. I wanted to call someone but I didn't have a phone with me. In the end, I made a hamburger so he'd unlock the wooden door. Suprisingly, my hamburger came 1st place, now everytime I see my trophy I feel like I need to be free (or eat a hamburger!).

Trapped!

Hook, slowly walking away from the plank, stared at the CROCODILE that ate his hand.  
"Captain,"Smee shouted, "The chef wants to know if you want ORANGE  Cake for desert?" 
"Sure Smee," Hook replied, as he COLLAPSED through the deck. Smee, hovering over the hole, tried to get down but he couldn't. 
"At least this bottom deck is WIDE  so I won't be uncomfortable," Captain Hook whispered to himself. 

A few hours later...
Captain Hook was sill in the lower deck but the stairs were blocked. Suddenly, he heard some mermaids outside, they were singing their favorite song, Dancing WITHIN fish. 

Black Eyed Bill

Jacob,  sitting on my favourite chair, listened to loud music. 
"Jacob, thats my chair get off," I whined.
"Stop whining you two, Jacob take those  horrible things off your ears at once,"Grandad shouted, then he whispered, " Come over here and I'll tell you some more stories from when I was a pirate."
"tell us about Black eyed Bill,"Said Jacob excitedly
"Ok," Grandad said, "thats the one who ate frogs."
"ewwwww," I exclaimed, " I just couldn't eat something so slimy and disgusting."

Just then there was a loud knock at the door grandad opened it and there he was...

The Pirate Battle

 " Roger! go get my pistol. Today is the day we attack the jolly roger, those evil pirates took everything from me during the great pirate war, I will get revenge..."
"Yes Captain" Roger replied and ran off to get the gun.

Meanwhile on the jolly roger...
"I know hook will attack today. That pirate may look weak but he can be determined when he wants to be. So everyone get ready we know him better then anyone, any suggestions we can use to defeat him and his team ?" Captain Smee said.

A few hours later on the Seven Seas ship...
"Attack!!!" the weapons master shouted. whose shouted was then drowned out by the explosions from the Jolly roger

The Night Before My Birthday

Excited, thats how I felt when I woke up a few weeks ago. Monday 15th July. I was getting a beautiful, brown and silver camera (there very hard to find in shops) because it was christmas... oh, I forgot it was my birthday! Why was I so excited? Quietly and slowly, I tiptoed down the stairs to see if the camera was there I was worried, maybe they didn't want to buy one for me but they did because it was there and it looked beautiful. I was smiling with a smile as big as the as the chesire cat's.

Karate Rat

A rat.I know what you're thinking "disgusting creatures, why would you even want to speak of them"
Well I'm here to tell you about a rat that rescued me by doing karate. If someone told me that, I would say "ok,but how can something so tiny learn karate? I doubt it had lessons."
 she didn't, she learnt from me.

I was at the gym, practising my karate when I saw a rat. I would of shouted the cleaner and he would of killed it, I didn't.

The rat had green eyes. I named her Sapphire.

Talking about Sports Day

Tomorrow’s sports day! I’m so excited, my friend, sally, and I have been practicing every day this week. We are having a sleepover at my house and we`re talking about the sack races.

“What you have to do is try and practice jumping really high so you can go super-fast when you`re jumping” I said.

“Ohhh… so that is why I am always last at the sack race!” Sally replied.

Then my little sister, Sunflower, came in and started jumping on my bed. 

“I bet she would be good at the sack race” Sally said

And we both started laughing… 

Little Darlings by Jaqueline Wilson

I’m writing about my favorite book called Little Darlings.  It’s about 2 gorgeous girls, one called sunset and one called Destiny, that have just discovered that they are sisters. Their dad is a remarkable singer who is now married to sunset’s mum. However, at the start of this book, sunsets mum doesn’t want Destiny’s dad to know that Destiny tried to visit him. When I borrowed this book (I remember that day, I wore a yellow bracelet), I took it gingerly because I didn’t want to break it.  I didn’t think I would like the book, I was completely wrong. 

Laughing is contagious

Laugh, that is what you should do when you’re feeling sad, upset, lonely or angry. My name is Samantha Simpsons but you can call me Sam, people say my laugh sounds like an old, wrinkled and evil witch cackling but I don’t really care what they say, and you shouldn’t either. What does your laugh sound like? Is it loud? Is it quiet? Is it embarrassing? Is it squeaky like a mouse? What makes you laugh? Do you like your laugh? Rats and monkeys can laugh. Apparently, humans were able to laugh before they could speak. Laughing is contagious.

My Strange Dream

 Yesterday, I woke up extremely tired because of some builders outside. I decided to go to my friend plum’s house, maybe it would be quieter. Suddenly, from out of nowhere 2 men jumped in front of me I was so freaked out because the men were dressed like chickens and making a clucking noise, the noise was SO loud. I looked up the street I should be able to see plums house but was I surprised, I saw the beach! I tried to stay calm, then I looked and saw 5,000 rabbits! Then I heard people shouting, I’d fell asleep…

Who's Inside?

I was running,  to anywhere. I just needed to go somewhere where nobody knew about the robbery. Japan? China? America? No, I didn’t have time people would be looking for me by now…
That’s when I found the forest. It was late, all I could see was trees and darkness so I kept walking hoping to find somewhere to spend the night. After 5 more minutes of walking, I found a clearing with some boats. Inside they were very cozy. I fell asleep. Once I woke up I was outside, the lamps were on in the boats. Who was inside?

My Unusual Carrots

One bright and sunny morning, I was in the garden working on my farm working hard about to dig up my carrots when I realized the carrot leaves were made of steel. As I dug under the soil I saw that the carrots were now mauve. I was just pulling them out of the soil when my sister who was already tearful (because her nail broke) came, saw the carrots, screamed, then fainted. My mum came out to see what the noise was about then she fainted too. I was alone out in the scorching sun wondering what to do…

Weather

In the south of Thailand there are floods. In England there is snow. Everybody dislikes the weather and wants it to stop, but how? Nobody knows maybe a god could make it stop or maybe they could build a gigantic roof over the country to stop the rain or snow. They tried all their ideas but none worked.  In the end they just decided to sit down inside then something incredible happened all over the world. The weather changed. All over the world as the weather changed, they all started to go outside and enjoy the weather and asked themselves the same question how did it change?

Diary Entry, 6th December 2020...

Dear Diary,

This morning, it was VERY strange. When I went downstairs my breakfast wasn`t where it usually is. All I could hear was silence. Wait a second, I can hear something. AAAAAH there`s an alien outside my door, ok I`ll tell you more about what happened later once I figured out if it is an alien.

Ok, so when I stopped writing I looked outside and saw a circular shaped alien whose name is Felix Blobhead. I couldn`t believe what I was seeing so I turned around but as I turned round it changed shape it`s now a square!

The Misterious Crocodile

One morning, sally awoke like she always does but this morning was different because when she opened the curtains outside was a crocodile eating her new orange dress from the washing line. She screamed and collapsed onto the floor. Sally’s mum ran into the room quickly and thought

"That`s strange the doors a bit wide," then she saw sally on the floor.

"Don`t worry," whispered her mum. Then suddenly from nowhere the crocodile appeared and said

"Just breath, think from within, what do you want her to do." After a few seconds, sally was ok just tired, so she slept.

Dont get sucked in!

One sunny morning, Sunflower was on her daily walk to the park when she saw a pot.

“That’s strange” she whispered to herself. Sunflower picked up the pot and took it home, then she continued with her day– watering flowers, doing homework, Baking cookies- then at 9:09pm she remembered the pot. Sunflower stomped up the stairs to her room, but that was strange her mum didn’t shout at her to tell her to be quiet. Sunflower ran into her room saw 4 legs sticking out of the pot but before she could scream the pot had sucked her in too!
