On the plane we swifted through the clouds as the smoke cleared past the side of the plane. We landed in the the rain where the mist came down to the surface of the sea. We got of the plane and we went to have some KFC in the airport. Waited for our car for 10 minutes and finally drove home and had a nice long sleep till morning.

This story began well with plenty of description. Next time try to keep using interesting vocabulary all the way to the end.
