“OMG!” gasped Poppy
Outside there were 2 thieves carrying boxes a lamp had fallen and that’s what made the crashing sound.
Poppy ran as fast as her little dwarf legs could go to the police station to be interrogated.
“Where were they going?” questioned the interrogator
“There was 2 of them and…”replied Poppy
“Yes, but where were they going?” interrupted the interrogator
“I’m not sure where” answered Poppy

A very exciting story beginning with an unusual main character. I wonder why the interrogator (good word!) was so interested in where the thieves were going?
Do people really say "OMG"?
I think the interrogator wanted to tell the police where they were going so the police could try to find them. I'm not sure if people say OMG I wrote it because I say it sometimes.
