I was too terrified to speak. The words were trapped in my mouth. I took a deep breath and tried again.
"in the fla..."
Still, I was frozen, trembling, shaking and shivering.
"in the flash of lightning I saw..."
I couldn't tell anyone what I saw. I was at the top of the building when the burst of lightning struck, it shook the entire building and everyone in it. It wasn't just the sudden flash or the crumbling building. It was the mystical face I saw just after. It was magical, and almost calm. Almost like an angel.
